Aristides em concerto em Utah

As duas orquestras, 8 côros e uma audiencia de milhares encheram o Morman Tabernacle em Salt Lake City para partilhar a grande história de Aristides de Sousa Mendes e dos refugiados que ele salvou. 

Um desses refugiados, Daniel Mattis, professor na Universidade de Utah,  era o pequeno Daniel Matusiewicz em 1940 quando receberam os vistos de Aristides de Sousa Mendes empenhou-se em visitar cada um dos ensembles musicais para lhes contar em primeira mão as sua recordações a história da fuga da sua família  através de Portugal. Assim todos os jovens cantores puderam apreciar como o ato de consciência de  Aristides de Sousa Mendes fez toda a diferença para centenas de famílias. 

A organização desde grande concerto e da criação da obra Circular 14: Apotheosis of Aristides de Sousa Mendes é a  um das iniciativas de Olivia Mattis, descendente de refugiados e  presidente da Sousa Mendes Foundation.
